Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jack Ford who was born in Northampton, England on September 22, 1997 and passed away on September 23, 2002 at the tender age of 5. His smile and laughter will live on forever in our hearts.

Please make a donation to Jack's memorial fund and help my husband - Jack's step dad, reach his target for climbing Kilimanjaro in Jack's memory.  We have pledged all fundraising from this trek to Connor Whipp.

Connor Whipp is 4 years old. The treatment Connor needs is a type of antibody therapy that is not currently available in the UK. This therapy has shown great results and improves a childs chances of survival by around 25%. The treatment will available to Connor after he has finished his treatment in the UK, which gives his family around 9 months to raise the £250,000 needed. Many children with high risk Neuroblastoma relapse, and there is currently no UK relapse protocol. The fund that the family are building for Connor will be available for a relapse protocol abroad should they need it. This could literally be the difference between life or death for Connor, The Jack Ford Memorial Fund has pledged to give the funds raised from the Kilimanjaro Trek to Connor's Appeal to help the family get him this life line.Jack was sent home to die at 4 years old because this country had no treatment options for him. Please help us stop this happening to Connor.

Thank you.

His legacy
The Jack Ford Memorial Fund
The Jack Ford Memorial Fund has been set up in conjunction with Families Against Neuroblastoma UK registered charity number 1135974. http://www.bmycharity.com/JackFordMemorialFund

Families Against Neuroblastoma (FAN) needs your support in many ways. Donations made to FAN will primarily be used to directly support our families. It will help provide the children with days out wish experiences and other things that are all intended to boost moral and put a smile on everyone's face. We firmly believe this can help make a positive impact on the success of the child's treatment. Unfortunately not all our children will survive and therefor it is vitally important that we can help pack as much fun into their short lives as we possible can and leave the family with precious memories to cherish after they have gone. Funds can also go towards an emergency treatment fund for any child who has not reached their target for medical costs in time, and offers a life line to those who need it urgently. The UK is still not funding treatments available abroad that could have the potential to save our kids lives. Of course there is also fund raising for research, in the hope that one day Neuroblastoma will not take our children away. There are several ways you can help raise awareness and funds. International Neuroblastoma Awareness
100 UK children a year are being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and for many of them the diagnosis has come too late. Many are given only a 10% chance of survival. My little boy lost his idol his hero... Charlie and others like him have to deal with the reality of watching their sibling go through hell and fade away while adults around them cross the street... and defriend... and ignore. 2 UK families a week.... It could be yours! Jack was a healthy baby fit active good diet no family history of cancer intelligent exceeded expectations in everything he did.... I never dreamt my son would die of cancer I just lived the nightmare and the reoccuring ones since he died. Make a stand help us stop Neuroblastoma taking our children. Please donate in Jack's memory together we are Families Against Neuroblastoma. http://www.bmycharity.com/JackFordMemorialFund
